Hurricane Repairs

Dear Castaways Friends and Guests,

We continue to work diligently to restore our beloved property following the devastating impacts of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. While it has been a long journey, we are pleased to share some good news: We are now open and welcoming guests and select units.

If you’re considering a stay with us, please carefully review the following important information about current conditions on the property before you book your stay:

Limited Availability

Only a portion of our units are available while restoration work continues throughout the complex. Availability is limited.

Ongoing Construction

Many areas remain under active repair. Guests can expect to see construction materials, barrier fencing, and workers onsite, and will likely experience loud construction noise (including banging, drilling, and movement of heavy machinery) during their stay. Please note: for your safety, all guests are required to avoid restricted or hazardous areas.

Pathways and Access

Beach pathways are limited, with many access points closed or fenced off.

Landscaping

Much of our lush greenery and protective beach dunes were damaged or washed away. The property is now more exposed and sandy than before, and natural regrowth will take time

Parking

Due to ongoing construction, our parking is very limited. Each rental unit will be assigned one parking spot only. There are no parking spots available for additional vehicles or guests to your condo.
