If you haven’t explored our barrier islands or other nearby waterways by kayak, you should add it to your bucket list!
There are kayak rentals available as you arrive at Manasota Key & other coastal areas, such as Placida, Boca Grande, etc.
You’ll glide through ancient Mangrove forests along the barrier islands. Wading birds, dolphin, crab, turtles, ray, manatee, birds of prey, shore birds, shrimp, sea grass, all coming together to create an incredibly diverse habitat.
Stop to explore the islands along your way & enjoy a picnic lunch on our sugar sand beaches. It will be a very memorable experience for all.
